Towards the deployment of virtual and augmented reality in the Industry of the Future

Florence Danglade, Associate Professor of Engineering Sciences and Doctor of Mechanical Design atLISPEN, conducts research on manufacturers' expectations regarding CAD tools, 3D models, and the use of virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) techniques from design to maintenance. She also trains MTI3DMaster's Research students atthe Institut Arts et Métiers Chalon-sur-Saône in these techniques with the aim of enabling them to become ambassadors for these new practices among their future employers.

After graduating with a Master's degree inInteractive 3D Technology Management fromthe Institut Arts et Métiers Laval, Jasmine Lebert was immediately hired as aUnity developer at Octo Technology, a new technology consulting firm in Paris, following her end-of-studies internship. Students in the MTI3D Master's program are highly sought after by companies and quickly find their way into the world of work!

2019 Challenge

Défi Chal'enge, a professional springboard for MTI3D Master's students

This Thursday, January 31, will see the fifth edition of the Chal'enge Challenge. The idea is to ask MTI3D research master's students to create virtual and augmented reality simulators to meet the needs of businesses. Some of the winners have been hired, while others are starting their own businesses. We look back on five years of the challenge with Jean-Rémy Chardonnet, head of the MTI3D master's program atthe Institut Image in Chalon-sur-Saône.
