Internships
During their studies, engineering students must complete at least two internships: a four-week practical internship in their first year, an optional industrial internship in their second year, and a final-year internship. The bachelor's degree program also includes periods of internship.
Apprenticeship contracts
Thespecialized engineering program consists of three years of training, alternating between periods at school and in the workplace. Thegeneral engineering program includes an apprenticeship program, offering 24 places each year.
Professional training contracts
The third year of the Grande Ecole Program can be completed under a professional training contract, as can the Bachelor of Technology,National Master's Degrees, and certain Specialized Master's Degrees.
The terms and conditions for students are the same, whether they are on a professional training contract or an apprenticeship contract (the only difference being that apprentices are attached to a CFA, or apprenticeship training center).
Employment
The forum is an annual event for companies wishing to meet students and recent graduates. Recruiters can also post their job offers on the websites of the two alumni associations : the Société des ingénieurs Arts et Métiers andthe Union nationale des anciens apprentisArts et Métiers.
