Arts et Métiers continuing education

In light of the rapid changes taking place in industry and its professions, continuing education is more necessary than ever. Through its subsidiary AMTALENTS, created in 2021,Arts et Métiers its expertise available to workers to help them remain employable throughout their professional lives and meet the growing need for skills in companies.

Continuing education is defined in the Labor Code, Article L-6111-1. "It comprises initial training, including apprenticeships, and subsequent training, which constitutes continuing vocational training, intended for adults and young people already engaged in working life or who are about to enter it."

Each employee or worker is now considered to be the main driver of their own professional development and skills adaptation. This ambition, driven by reforms in vocational training, is fully in line withArts et Métiers  approachArts et Métiers  to offer a wide range of training programs to meet all the needs of companies and their employees. These training programs are also aimed at job seekers and students.

Expectations vary greatly depending on career paths and aspirations, which may include specialization, acquiring dual skills, or retraining. Jobs are changing and technologies are evolving rapidly. The Specialized Engineering Program

The Specialized Engineering Program is an engineering course that can be accessed through an apprenticeship, with one foot in school and the other in the company, providing a solid theoretical foundation while accumulating 18 months of professional experience and benefiting from the academic quality of the Arts et Métiers school. and the other in a company, allowing students to acquire a solid theoretical foundation while gaining 18 months of professional experience.
