The Entrepreneurship and Technological Innovation Program supports individuals with projects to start a business or develop technological innovations within a company.
A training program available on all campuses
Arts et Métiers the development of local businesses by training young talent.
The Grande Ecole engineering program (PGE) at Arts et Métiers three tracks, depending on the options chosen in the 2nd and 3rd years:
- Jobs in the Industry of the Future
- Research and Development,
- Entrepreneurship and Technological Innovation.
The Entrepreneurship and Technological Innovation Program (PEIT) is one of these three programs. It is aimed at engineering students who wish to lead a technological innovation project in a company or start or take over a business.
Engineer-entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs are highly sought after today by large companies as well as microbusinesses and SMEs.
Will you follow in the footsteps of Lucas, Thomas, Bastien, Julien, Paul, and so many others?
A foundation of skills and an entrepreneurial spirit
"Think skills," says Lucas. If you have a project, you need to specialize in the scientific fields that interest you." For this student, now in his third year of a Master's degree in Research, it was important to combine entrepreneurial experience with developing skills in his field of expertise. Specializing in biomechanics, he was able to lead a technological innovation project in a CEA laboratory as part of the PEIT program. CEAlaboratory. He spent six months at one of the largest biomechanics laboratories developing an exoskeleton hand. He plans to continue his professional career in research and entrepreneurship. For him, "entrepreneurship is about skills, a way of living and working."
Entrepreneurship is about skills, a way of living and working.
Developing an "entrepreneurial spirit" is possible thanks to the PEIT, which offers:
- specific teaching, delivered in the form of workshops, seminars, and lectures.
Depending on your profile, two programs are available:- " Innovation & Entrepreneurship Academy" for entrepreneurship project leaders (Program presentation coming soon)
- "CPi or Innovative Product Creation" for students ready to work on one of the corporate innovation projects thatArts et Métiers offer them. Discover the video presentation of the program.
- Individualized support/coaching for project leaders within a regional incubator (Arts et Métiers National Pre-incubation Program).
Here is an overview of the working dynamics within our national Arts et Métiers pre-incubation program in the video below.
The PEIT provides free access to highly expensive support services. Engineering students can receive coaching starting in their second year of the Arts et Métiers Grande École Program.
A simple application form
There are no assignment preferences, but rather a selection process carried out by a committee.
The program begins in the second year of the PGE. Selection and recruitment therefore take place at the end of the first year.
To this end, first-year students in all regions participate in "awareness-raising" events.
Motivated students are then invited to submit a specific applicationbefore September 30.
Selection committees interview candidates on each campus at the end of May.
To apply for this program, download and complete the pre-selection application form.
Innovation & Entrepreneurship Day
Awareness hackathons are organized twice a year (fall and spring) during the first year of the Grande Ecole Program on all campuses: an initial test to bring out the ideas and talents of tomorrow!
In addition to these innovdays, conferences and round tables are organized every year in September during INNOVATION AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP WEEK at Arts et Métiers.
Accessible to everyone, they allow you to meet:
- Startups, SMEs, and large corporations that design and drive the technological, social, and environmental innovations of tomorrow.
- prestigious academic institutions (MIT, Berkeley, KIT, etc.) that participate in training and skills development in innovation and entrepreneurship internationally,
- former students who have completed training courses dedicated to innovation and entrepreneurship and/or who have started their own businesses.
Come along to this year's conference, which will focus on "Desirable future(s)... How?"
