Student life
Student life at Arts et Métiers all factors that promote the individual and collective development of students. These elements include:
- Social integration (culture, sports, community life);
- Comfort of living;
- The layout of learning spaces;
- Interest in ongoing training
This definition was proposed by the group of students responsible for drafting the institution's Student Life Master Plan, and it seems to capture the essence of what it means to be a student at one of the Arts et Métiers campuses.
A dynamic student and community life
Arts et Métiers for its particularly active student life, marked by numerous events throughout the academic year. Involvement in student life offers unique opportunities to take on responsibilities and work as part of a team.
With around 3,500 members, the Union des Elèves (UE) is one of the largest student associations in France. The institution is also home to the Union Nationale des ApprentisArts et Métiers UNA'AM), which has 1,000 active members. These two associations propose and organize events for their members, national projects, and events that bring together all students.
Other associations, such as the Association ofArts et Métiers Doctors and Doctoral StudentsArts et Métiers ADDAM), the Association of Arts et Métiers Master's Students Arts et Métiers AsMAM), and the Bachelor's associations, allow everyone to get involved in community life.
The activities on offer—whether sporting, cultural, scientific, or humanitarian—are organized throughout the academic year, both on the Arts et Métiers campuses Arts et Métiers at off-site locations that can accommodate larger numbers.
Comprehensive training for personal and professional development
Student life at Arts et Métiers is Arts et Métiers limited to club activities. Being a student at Arts et Métiers means benefiting from an education that promotes personal and professional development.
Three areas structure student life, applicable to all programs. First, Arts et Métiers the only school to offer access to workshops, allowing students to create pieces according to their needs.
Next, Arts et Métiers a point of honor to promote its associations through promotional days and professional development events, particularly via the AMJE, which encourages discussions with companies and a professionalizing community life.
Finally, social fulfillment is encouraged through a multitude of activities: parties, sports, and various clubs. At Arts et Métiers, the possibilities are endless, and students are limited only by their imagination.
