The PLM (Product Life Cycle Management) Chair of the Future between Arts et Métiers Capgemini was inaugurated on March 4 at the school's premises.

The "Urban Mines" research and teaching chair was created in 2014 by theeco-organization ecosystem in partnership with the ParisTech Foundation and three prestigious engineering schools: Arts et Métiers, Chimie ParisTech, and Mines ParisTech. Its aims to build a truly circular economy that respects the environment and citizens. It seeks to explore, discover, and exploit materials from a new type of "mine" found in our cities: WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).

Julien Artur de la Villarmois is in his second year ofthe Arts et Métiers Grande École Programand has been granted National Student Entrepreneur Status (SNEE). The concept behind his entrepreneurial project is to provide individuals with stations for recharging hydrogen-powered vehicles. The PARSIFAL project addresses several fundamental aspects in the preliminary design of the aircraft: socio-economic studies (to analyze user needs/requirements and existing infrastructure), flight mechanics, aerodynamics and noise emissions, aeroelasticity, and structural analysis of the wing and fuselage architecture (with a view to optimization).
