The Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers in a nutshell

Located in the tourist district of La Doutre for over 200 years, in the heart of Angers, the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers offers over 17,000 m² dedicated to training and research. With modular teaching spaces, collaborative and individual workspaces, a training factory, and technical laboratories covering more than 5,000 m², the campus offers an exceptional learning environment that is closely aligned with the needs of businesses. A wide range of courses is available, both in terms of subject areas and learner status (student, apprentice, military personnel).
The campus specializes in developing expertise in infrastructure, innovative processes, virtual and augmented reality, and design methodologies, and offers a Arts et Métiers engineering degree Arts et Métiers through an apprenticeship program.
The Angers campus even offers additional support for students wishing to embark on an entrepreneurial career through the Les Entrep' Pays de la Loire program.

The Angers campus is a key player in the industry of the future in the Pays de la Loire region, France's third most dynamic region in terms of industry.

A word from the director

The Angers campus is clearly part of a dynamic partnership and regional initiative serving students and businesses. The campus is currently undergoing a period of transformation and change for the Industry of the Future: the construction of a 2,000 m² testing and characterization hall dedicated to fatigue durability, which, in partnership with IRT Jules Verne, will be a technological platform with national reach. We have also forged strategic relationships with ENSIM (National School of Military Infrastructure Engineers), the University of Angers IUT, CEA Tech, IRT Jules Verne, and others," said Amandine Duffoux, Director of the Angers campus.

Evolutives Learning Factories on campus

Our industries are facing real challenges related to digital, energy, environmental, and societal transitions and need talented individuals who can support them. To meet this need, the school has launched an ambitious program to adapt its campuses and programs. The Evolutive Learning Factories program aims to transform our campuses into Industry 4.0 factory schools, full-scale demonstration facilities offering a unique environment for experimentation for students and companies. This initiative is part of a broader strategy of continuously adapting our programs to the needs of businesses and society, drawing in particular on the high-level engineering research teams deployed in our institution by our teacher-researchers.
