The third workshop of the AM² transatlantic partnership, jointly led by Texas A&M Engineering (TEES) and Arts et Métiers, was held at Texas A&M University Campus from October 16 to 18, 2019, in the presence of Alexis Andres, Consul General of France in Houston. For the past three years, the town of Cluny has been organizing activities as part ofPink October. This year, engineering students from the Arts et Métiers Grande Ecole Program at the Cluny campus got involved.
Flying a drone in zero gravity... This is the project led by a team of engineering students from the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Lille, which has just won the CNES "Projet Parabole" competition. The prize: a flight in zero gravity!
On Sunday, August 25, 2019, Nicolas Fleury, a second-year student in the Arts et Métiers Grande Ecole Program at the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Cluny, took 16th place in a round of the Bike Trial World Cup in Italy. Following this performance, the French team coach invited Nicolas to participate in the World Championships, which will take place on November 10 in Chengdu, China.

On May 6, a team from La Maison France 5 came to film a report for France Bois Forêt. The report focuses on the manufacture of CLT panels made from oak. The Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region is home to vast oak forests. The Bois Croisés de Bourgogne association has come up with an innovative product that makes it possible to use oak that is considered to be of secondary quality.
