The third workshop of the AM² transatlantic partnership, jointly led by Texas A&M Engineering (TEES) and Arts et Métiers, was held at Texas A&M University Campus from October 16 to 18, 2019, in the presence of Alexis Andres, Consul General of France in Houston. The workshop brought together partners from the AM² partnership industry, several members of the academic community, the scientific advisor to the French Consulate in Houston, and the leaders of the AM² partnership initiative from TEES and Arts et Métiers.

Open Access Week 2019, from October 21 to 27, is an international event that allows the scientific community to learn more about the benefits of open access to research results, share knowledge and experiences with colleagues, and contribute to the promotion of open access.

Arts et Métiers, and more specificallythe Laval Institute and the LAMPA research laboratory, is coordinating the European research project INEDIT (Open INnovation Ecosystems for Do It Together process). This project aims to create a platform linking open innovation and open manufacturing, dedicated to the co-creation and manufacture of furniture for all.

Lecturer and researcher at the Angers campus and within LAMPA since 2011, Etienne Pessard flew to Canada this summer on CRCT (Leave for Research or Thematic Conversions). This type of leave allows a teacher-researcher to devote themselves to a research topic for a period of six to twelve months.
