With businesses severely affected by the consequences of Covid-19, the Arts et Métiers community Arts et Métiers mobilizing to help 1,500 SMEs and micro-enterprises restart their activities. 

Arts et Métiers Arts et Métiers (alumni association) have designed a support program for small and medium-sized businesses. This program, called GARAS (Guide d'Accompagnement de Reprise d'Activité Sécurisée, or Guide to Safe Business Resumption), aims to help companies restart their activities by supporting them in implementing health protection measures for their employees. 
Drawing on the eight Arts et Métiers campuses, this new service aims to work closely with companies of all sizes throughout France. 

The GARAS program consists of two parts: 

  • A kit containing all the health and safety information needed to return to work (workstation and schedule adjustments, organization and logistics, etc.).
     
  • The proposal to welcome an engineering student from Arts et Métiers to the company Arts et Métiers implement these various measures. This engineering student will participate in an internship tailored to this mission and integrated into their academic program.
