The "Urban Mines" research and teaching chair was created in 2014 by theeco-organization ecosystem in partnership with the ParisTech Foundation and three prestigious engineering schools: Arts et Métiers, Chimie ParisTech, and Mines ParisTech. Its aims to build a truly circular economy that respects the environment and citizens. It seeks to explore, discover, and exploit materials from a new type of "mine" found in our cities: WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).

Julien Artur de la Villarmois is in his second year ofthe Arts et Métiers Grande École Programand has been granted National Student Entrepreneur Status (SNEE). The concept behind his entrepreneurial project is to provide individuals with stations for recharging hydrogen-powered vehicles. We talk to Julien about this project, which won an award at the Pépite France Challenge 2020.

The Franco-American Innovation Day, which brings together American and French researchers, companies, and investors, took place on Thursday, February 13, in the United States.

In three years, the commitment of students and staff at the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Metz has enabled €12,000 to be donated tothe NGO Oxfam. How? By participating in Trailwalker, a long-distance charity walk (100 km for the original versions) with an entry fee that includes a €1,500 donation (per team) to the association.
 

As part of the 8th Framework Program for Research and Innovation Horizon 2020 launched by the European Commission, the consortium composed of three partners (Nexteam Group, Conseil et Technique, Arts et Métiers its commercialization subsidiary AMValor) responded in 2018 to the call for projects Clean Sky 2project call. The proposed themes were related to the challenges faced by the aeronautics industry in reducing CO2, gas, and noise emissions from aircraft through innovative and cutting-edge technology.
