Eddy Obeid is in his third year of the Grande Ecole Program. Born in Lebanon, he lived part of his life in Saudi Arabia before coming to study in France at the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Bordeaux-Talence.

Renaud Ferté is a third-year engineering student in the Arts et Métiers Grande Ecole Program. For his first-year work placement, Renaud decided to take part in the renovation of a British ship built in 1910, Tally Ho, which had been abandoned in Oregon before finding an owner in 2017.

On October 5, 2020, Arts et Métiers Sopra SteriaNext signed a three-year sponsorship agreement to createa training chair on the Paris campus. This is the first training chair offered at Arts et Métiers.

Launched in June 2019 at the Paris Air Show, the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Academic Space Center is entering its operational phase. The Nouvelle-Aquitaine Academic Space Center (NAASC) has just secured financial support from the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region, and its first projects are now ready to take shape.

Together with Valentin Melchior, Digitalization Project Manager for ArcelorMittal and a recent Arts et Métiers graduate, they met with students during orientation week.

Following on from the partnership with the Ministry of the Armed Forces initiated in 2018 by the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Bordeaux-Talence, an agreement will be signed on September 22 between Arts et Métiers the Ministry of the Armed Forces for the implementation of a one-week leadership training course in a military context.

On Tuesday, September 22, Nicolas Perry received the Outstanding Action Award at the Health Innovation Forum in Bordeaux. This award, presented by the newspaper La Tribune, recognizes the project launched during lockdown by the Bordeaux professor and researcher, which aims to design closed-system tracheal valves for COVID-19 patients in intensive care.
