After a highly successful first edition and a promising second year despite the health crisis, the new HydroGadz student team is taking over with even more ambitious projects.

Yassine Ben Zineb and Rémi Charbonnier both completed their preparatory studies in the Grand Est region. They look back on their journey, from preparatory studies to their entry into Arts et Métiers, on the Metz campus, in September 2020.

Remy Frayssinhes, a doctoral student atLaBoMaP, defended his thesis on Tuesday, December 8, 2020, on "the optimization of Douglas fir peeling parameters and modeling of the mechanical properties of LVL panels incorporating silvicultural data." Due to the health crisis, visits to the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Cluny will not be possible. Discussions dedicated to high school students and students from university institutes of technology (IUT) and preparatory classes will be offered to schools in the Cluny recruitment area using videoconferencing tools.
