As part of the partnership signed on May 16 with the Lille campus, Hugues Roland, head of the design office at KSB's Sequedin site, presented Arts et Métiers various professions related to the life cycle of a pump. He emphasized the importance of the lessons taught as part of their training, so that they correspond to the needs of industrial sites.

PCI SCEMM, Cetim (Technical Center for Mechanical Industries) and AMVALOR, the commercialization subsidiary ofArts et Métiers, will present the e-SPINDLE at the European EMO (World Machine Tool Exhibition) trade show, which will take place in Hanover from September 16 to 21, 2019.

Three second-year engineering students completed their two-month summer internship in Dubai, working on the Baitykool project prototype. Located in the world's largest solar park, this prototype sustainable house, designed to withstand extreme heat, incorporates a number of innovative technologies. It also took third place in the 2018 Solar Decathlon Middle East, and first place in the "Sustainable Development" and "Energy Efficiency" categories.

This summer, around twenty students from the Arts et Métiers campuses Arts et Métiers Lille and Metz are heading to Nepal on a humanitarian project. The goal? To improve access to water and educational conditions for the people of the village of Tokarpur.

As part of the partnership with TEES/TAMU, the MSMP is welcoming Luca Freitas, the first intern from Texas. After earning a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in engineering and as part of his Engineering Honors (EH) program, Luca Freitas is coming to do a two-month internship at the MSMP laboratory MSMP.
