On Saturday, September 12, 2020, students at the Angers campus carried out solidarity actions, ensuring that protective measures were observed. 

This year, the Arts et Métiers student ambassadors Arts et Métiers launched a fully virtual outreach initiative to connect with prospective students interested in the Grande Ecole Engineering Programme. The goal: to introduce the school and answer students’ questions!

As part of the partnership between the Higher School of Foundry and Forging (ESFF) and our School, around thirty ESFF students came to our campus on August 26, 27, and 28 to carry out practical work!

To welcome the first-year students of Grande Ecole Engineering Programme, Nicolas Douaud, director of theKSBfacilityin Sequedin, shared Arts et Métiers vision of engineering careers with the future Arts et Métiers engineers. This presentation was part of the partnership between KSB and Arts et Métiers , which has been in place Arts et Métiers spring 2019.

On Friday, September 4, Arts et Métiers EDF signed a two-year extension to their skills sponsorship agreement. The agreement was signed in the presence of Jean-Bernard Lévy, Chairman and CEOof EDF, and Laurent Champaney, Managing DirectorArts et Métiers Marseille. 

Innovating in nanotechnology is the challenge taken on by Alice Grégoire, an engineer Arts et Métiers, during her Master of Science at Cranfield University in the United Kingdom.

Five students will take part in a day of private Formula 1 testing in early 2021. They won this prize thanks to the high-level work they carried out on their educational project proposed by Cyril Dumont, their class sponsor and Director of Operations and Facilities at Renault Sport Racing.

Félix Guéguen is an engineering student Arts et Métiers his third year of the Grand Ecole Program, as part of a dual degree with AgroParisTech. Passionate about biology and aeronautics, he uses his dual expertise as a biologist and engineer to work in a booming sector: biomimicry.

On July 6, Rachel, a former doctoral student at the I2M laboratory on the Bordeaux campus, won the Jean-Marc Gey (JMG) Prize, which rewards doctoral students conducting research in a laboratory affiliated with the National School of Chemistry, Biology, and Physics (ENSCBP), for projects or thesis topics related to sustainable development.

This year, the 74th edition of the Châlons Fair will take place from September 4 to 14 at the Capitole in Champagne, and as every year, Arts et Métiers its stand on the main square all day on Tuesday, September 8.
