At the Arts et Métiers the Energy Transition (CAMTE) ceremony organized by the Student Union’s Events Committee, two teams of students from the Grande Ecole Engineering Programme at the Angers campus received an award for their commitment to projects aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions on their campus. Sihem Benzerga, a recent graduate of Grande Ecole Engineering Programme, spent her third year at the National University of Colombia (UNAL) to specialize in environmental science. After six months of coursework, she completed her capstone internship at Campus Durable, an initiative led by UNAL’s administration. Her mission: to prepare for the implementation of a sustainable cafeteria system at the university. Since the start of the 2015 academic year, Arts et Métiers APE, a tailor-made professional support program for students that aims to increase their employability and prepare them for the challenges they will face in their professional careers.
