On Thursday, December 16, 2021, Savencia and Arts et Métiers a new partnership on the Lille campus with the aim of forging lasting ties with Arts et Métiers engineering students.

Inès, an engineering student in the Grande Ecole Program at the Aix-en-Provence campus, spent last summer doing humanitarian volunteer work in Tanzania. She was welcomed in the city of Arusha.
"I love traveling, but I had never been on a humanitarian trip before. So I wanted to try the experience to discover a new culture by being close to the locals while also being able to help out."

On December 9, 2021, the Henri Marriat high school in Montceau-les-Mines welcomed Isabelle Duband, a teacher at theCluny campusand equal opportunities and gender diversity officer, along with her team of professionals and Arts et Métiers students. A look back at the latest edition of "Engineering and Technical Day 2021," part of the Cordées de la Réussite program, in which Arts et Métiers has participated since 2008.

Tom Gaüzere is a third-year student on the PIS Production/Maintenance course, taught at the Bordeaux-Talence campus. He discusses the advantages of his course, particularly the role played by companies.

Passionate about mechanics and technology, Julien Le Monnier de Gouville is currently in his third year of the Bachelor's program at the Bordeaux-Talence campus. He is also an apprentice employee at the robotics company Nimbl'bot. 

Eloïse MinderandMaël Sombret, two students in theMTI3Dresearch-oriented Master's program atthe Arts et Métiers institute Arts et Métiers Chalon-sur-Saône, have designed a rehabilitation aid tool for people affected by COVID. After winning an award at Laval Virtual in July 2021, their project won an honorable mention at the latest edition of the Interverse Virtual Reality Challenge (IVRC) in Japan.

Launched in 2019 byPolytechnicum(the Engineering and Management Center atthe University of Burgundy-Franche-Comté), this initiative aims to promote regional education, encourage women to pursue careers in science, and enhance the appeal of local areas.

AMJE Paris won the ENGIE award for the best project with positive impacts at the National Winter Congress organized on Saturday by the National Confederation of Junior Enterprises in Seignosse.
 

A third-year engineering student in Aix-en-Provence, Mylène Tarnowski is on a professional training contract. Her goal is to gain experience so she can quickly enter the workforce.

Arts et Métiers, University College Dublin (UCD/Ireland), the University of Tartu (Estonia), and the Irish company Stryker are joining forces to raise awareness among young people about the industry of the future by inviting primary school children to take part in creative additive manufacturing experiments dedicated to health and well-being. The initiative is funded by EIT Manufacturing, an organization that aims to bring together European industrial players in the manufacturing industry.
