Professional support for students, meetings with LinkedIn experts, and individual interviews with HR managers—the campus is stepping up its initiatives to prepare its engineering students for the challenges of the professional world. Nine academic advisors and more than 240 professionals are involved throughout the year in providing professional support for students.

Passionate about science, technology, and DIY from a young age, Matthieu Desfontaines, an engineer who graduated from the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers , returned to his Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Lille from February 10 to 14, 2024, with a completely different goal in mind. 

Since graduating, he has left his student days behind and become an entrepreneur. With a rich and inspiring background, he founded Les Apprentis Curieux, a company dedicated to introducing science and experimentation to young children.

At the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Bordeaux-Talence, extended reality (XR) is a key training tool. From their first year, engineering students explore the different uses of XR applied to the product life cycle through classes, practical work, and concrete projects, thereby acquiring essential skills for Industry 5.0.

At the end of 2024, music students from the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Cluny organized the Candle's Light concert for the residents of Cluny and the surrounding area in the galleries of the cloister of Cluny Abbey.
