Six students in the Grande Ecole Program at the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Cluny won first prize in the robotics competition at the S.mart national conference thanks to an autonomous robot designed as part of an ambitious educational and community project.

The Arts et Métiers Team (AMRT) student association was founded in 2020 by Théo Laplasse, a student at Arts et Métiers, with the ambition of participating in the international Formula Student competition with an electric single-seater vehicle. In June 2025, the association, made up of eight engineering students in the Grande Ecole program at the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Cluny, won first prize in the ENEDIS EV Challenge with their electric kart.

Anthony and Fabian, two engineering apprentices, chose to immerse themselves in new environments: one in Bavaria (🇩🇪), the other in Bristol (🇬🇧), at the heart of large-scale projects. Between steps, challenges, discoveries, and learning experiences, they look back on a memorable experience.
 

After a test phase, the CAIRE project is entering a new phase. The goal is to broaden the audience trained in artificial intelligence, while ensuring the quality and modularity of the program.
