Cordées de la réussite: The Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Lille joins the program!

This September 2024, the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Lille is joining the Cordées de la réussite program, supported by the Ministry of National Education and Youth.

The objective: To introduce greater social equity in access to higher education by offering support to middle and high school students in their career guidance.

The MSMP laboratory at the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Lille acquires a scanning electron microscope (SEM)

In December 2024, the Mechanics, Surfaces, Materials and Processes (MSMP) laboratory at the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Lille acquired a scanning electron microscope (SEM).

This acquisition is the result of a project launched in July as part of the Evolutive Learning Factories program Evolutive Learning Factories the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Lille. All of the device's functions were installed at the end of December 2024.

Workplace Equality— Arts et Métiers . Continues to Make Progress

Arts et Métiers achieved a score of 83.3 out of 100 on the Gender Equality in the Workplace Index for the year 2025. This result confirms the institution’s ongoing efforts to promote greater workplace equality in terms of employee compensation and represents an increase of more than 7 points since 2023. Established by Law No. 2023-623 of July 19, 2023, the Professional Equality Index is a tool for measuring and monitoring gender disparities in the civil service. In particular, it assesses pay gaps as well as the representation of women and men among the highest-paid employees.

Steady growth since 2023

Arts et Métiers 's results show a positive trend in the index over the past three years:

  • 2023: 76.25/100
  • 2024: 80.1/100
  • 2025: 83.3/100

This improvement reflects the progress the institution has made in the area of workplace equality. In 2025, Arts et Métiers scored 49.4 out of 52 points for the gender pay gap among civil servants and 25.9 out of 28 points for the pay gap among contract employees. The indicator regarding the representation of women and men among the ten highest-paid employees, meanwhile, stands at 8 out of 20. This result thus represents an area for improvement identified for the coming years. Based on these results, Arts et Métiers intends to build on this momentum and reaffirms its commitment to implementing the necessary actions to make professional equality a sustainable and tangible reality within the institution. With this in mind, an internal working group comprising various stakeholders from the institution is continuing its efforts to identify remaining pay gaps and help reduce them.
