Around sixty female studentsArts et Métiers part in a special day dedicated to raising awareness of gender diversity issues.

Equity Week 2025, organized between March 3 and 8, 2025, by the Elles Bougent association with VINCI Energies, took place on the Metz, Châlons, and Lille campuses through a fun and enriching activity: the Maillon Fort.

What is Equity Week?

Organized by the Elles bougent association as part of International Women's Day, Equity Week is an international event that aims to unite, raise awareness, and mobilize around gender equality issues. This must-attend event aims to break down gender stereotypes and promote gender diversity in France and internationally.

What is Maillon Fort?

Le Maillon Fort is a collaborative workshop designed to explore gender equality issues in the workplace. This engaging workshop addresses 21 key topics, such as pay inequality, imposter syndrome, pressure to succeed, parenting in the workplace, and barriers to women's careers. By promoting collective reflection and dialogue, this game develops communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills, while raising awareness of gender diversity and inclusion issues.

This initiative represents an exceptional opportunity forArts et Métiers studentsArts et Métiers learn, exchange ideas and reflect together on equal opportunities in the professional world. The event also highlighted VINCI Energies France's commitments and concrete actions in favor of gender diversity.

A strong commitment to diversity

According to Mathieu Mimault, Director of the Rail Division at Axians Infra VINCI Energies France:

"We must work together to achieve greater equality of opportunity. This is both a responsibility and a challenge for business sustainability. The aim of this event is to raise awareness of gender diversity, whether you are a woman or a man."

The 2025 edition of Equity Week is therefore part of a dynamic shift in attitudes and concrete actions in favor of gender equality, with the active involvement of futureArts et Métiers engineers.
