On Tuesday, February 8, 2022, Arts et Métiers HeidelbergCement France signed a three-year sponsorship agreement at the Paris Campus to forge lasting ties between students and professionals in the building materials sector. This partnership strengthens the industrial and regional roots of the School, a leading French institution serving the industry of the future.
With this sponsorship, HeidelbergCement France and Arts et Métiers strengthen their close ties and organize specific initiatives on three campuses: Angers, Bordeaux-Talence, and Châlons-en-Champagne.
Arts et Métiers studentsArts et Métiers have rapid access to positions of responsibility at HeidelbergCement, which plans to recruit 25 to 30 engineers in 2022/2023 and successfully integrate young talent into its ranks.
According to Jérémie Pieri, Human Resources Director at HeidelbergCement France, "the partnership will be based on the 'Engineers in Training' program, which provides 18 months of on-the-job support, making it an excellent integration pathway. This program, which is open to all recent graduates, provides comprehensive training combining theory and practice in Francewithin our subsidiaries, Ciments Calcia, GSM & Unibéton and abroad. It promotes the assumption of positions of responsibility or expertise under the best conditions ."

Recruitment events (internship forums, job dating, etc.) are planned. On January 14, the group had already invited students from the Châlons-en-Champagne campus to attend an initial internship forum.
Visits to various HeidelbergCement sites are also on the agenda. The company has nearly 300 production sites throughout France, enabling it to meet the material needs for housing and infrastructure construction in the country. Students from different campuses will thus be in direct contact with professionals and sectors that correspond to the industrial reality of their environment.
