Meet Nathanael Dougier, a third-year doctoral student in energy engineering at the Lispen laboratory on the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers .
In line with current climate concerns, his research aims to develop a decision-making tool for designing hybrid electricity mixes (wind, solar, hydro, storage, etc.) to meet a region's electricity consumption needs.

Since the start of the 2015 academic year, Arts et Métiers APE, a tailor-made professional support program for students that aims to increase their employability and prepare them for the challenges they will face in their professional careers. In concrete terms, engineering students in the Grande École Program receive 9 to 12 hours of support in groups of 12 to 24 students, and 1 to 2 hours of individual support during each of the five academic semesters. Approximately 300 professionals visit the Arts et Métiers campuses each year Arts et Métiers part of the APE program.

This is an opportunity for businesses to benefit from an outside perspective and launch new projects.

The Region has created a special aid package for students in difficulty following the total or partial loss of a student job. Total budget: €4 million.

DStudent ambassadors are appointed to represent sponsors. Their role includes promoting corporate events to their fellow students and disseminating internship offers.

 

The apprenticeship program at Arts et Métiers Grande Ecole Program, which takes place on the Angers campus, allows a company to benefit from the skills of engineering students for three years.
