One of the key players inthe Metz Technopôle, a center of excellence for new technologies, the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Metz is at the heart of a dynamic environment with which it interacts. The Technopôle is home to several higher education institutions: CentraleSupélec, GeorgiaTech Lorraine, ESITC, ENIM, and the University of Lorraine, as well as numerous companies, competitiveness clusters, and research centers, etc.

Thanks to the dedication and recognized skills of all our staff, we have awarded degrees to hundreds of engineers and PhDs, some of whom have obtained dual degrees with Germany and the United States. Through its Metz campus, Arts et Métiers also plays a key role in regional development by attracting talent and fostering synergy between industrial and academic partners, both locally and internationally, thanks to its unique industrial platforms. Evolutives Learning Factories on campus

On the Metz campus,Evolutive Learning Factory ELF) stands out for its commitment to digital transformation and decarbonization in industry.
The development of connected technology platforms on campus aims to strengthen control over manufacturing processes while optimizing their energy efficiency and reducing their carbon footprint.

This factory-school will offer students the opportunity to explore the entire value chain of a manufactured product: from the choice of materials to responsible processes, including energy management, recycling, and life cycle analysis, all in an environment conducive to collaboration and the adoption of new technologies.

Campus facilities

Student residences

TheArts et Métiers student residenceArts et Métiers RESAM) is just a few meters from the campus. It mainly accommodates students from the school. It has 281 single rooms and 20 double rooms. For more information: http://resam-metz.org/ 

There are other CROUS residences near the campus: the Technopôle and Bridoux residences.

Catering 

The Le Metz'In university restaurant is located right next to the campus. It is open from 11:30 a.m. for lunch and 6:30 p.m. for dinner. 
There is a cafeteria at the UFR MIM, across the road. It is open from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The dining areas are open Monday through Friday, except during university holidays (adjusted hours).
Payment methods: Student card (Izly) OR credit card only.

Sports venue(s)

The campus has a gym that is accessible to all students through the Sports Association. The gym is equipped with a weight room, a multi-sport court, and a ping-pong room.
Outdoor sports enthusiasts can also enjoy direct access to numerous paths and trails.

Graduate School Program (PGE)

  • Student Association (SA) which organizes student activities on campus and in the residence halls.
  • Sports Association (AS) offering regular or occasional sessions in a wide range of sports and activities: soccer, athletics, badminton, rugby, volleyball, handball, horse riding, hiking, etc.
  • Arts et Métiers Entreprise (AMJE), which offers students the opportunity to carry out assignments for companies.
  • GaSole, which works on environmental and humanitarian issues.

Starting in September 2026, the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Metz will offer a new Bachelor's degree in Science and Technology, specializing in Materials and Energy, which will be accessible directly after high school graduation.
