Admissions Exams for Arts et Métiers

The CPGE Exam
The main route of admission is through the competitive entrance exams taken after completing preparatory classes for the grandes écoles (CPGE). Students from science tracks (MP, MPI, PC, PSI, PT, or TSI, among others) may take the competitive exams that grant admission to the Grande École Program.
Arts et Métiers a leading role in two joint admissions processes: the PT track for banking and the Centrale Supélec entrance exam, which represent more than 80 engineering schools and nearly 5,000 spots. Arts et Métiers also Arts et Métiers 15 students through the ATS Industrial Engineering entrance exam. This exam is administered jointly by some 40 engineering schools.

The GEIUNIV Competition
This competitive entrance exam is open to holders of university degrees (French or foreign) in the following fields: Mathematics, Physics, Electronics-Electrical Engineering-Automation (EEA), Computer Science, Engineering Sciences, Mechanical Engineering, and Civil Engineering. It allows students enrolled in their third year of a bachelor’s degree or Master of Science to apply to these engineering schools with a strong scientific focus.
