The Arts & Métiers Think Tank was created in 2018, jointly by the École NationaleArts et Métiers the Société des Ingénieurs Arts et Métiers. Its dual mission is to conduct forward-looking research on industry and technology in the public interest and to fuel reflection on the future of the school and its identity.
The Lycée René Cassin hosted the "Engineer, technician, why not you?" initiative, part of the Cordées de la Réussite Arts et Métiers program led by Isabelle Duband, a teacher at the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Cluny and project manager for "equal opportunities and gender diversity."
Organized by CaMéX-IA, DAI3 was held on Thursday, April 11, at ArcelorMittal's Digital Lab in Uckange. Always working closely with its partners, this event offered its 40 members the opportunity to (re)discover CaMéX-IA's activities, gain a better understanding of the use of AI, and, above all, (re)discover the industrial sites that are members of the network.
On Thursday, April 11, 2024,high school students, college students, teachers, staff, and local authorities gathered for the third edition of Digital Artificial Intelligence (DAI3) organized by CaMéX-IA Grand Est.
Olivier BECHT, Member of Parliament for Haut-Rhin and Minister Delegate for Foreign Trade, Attractiveness, and French Nationals Abroad in Elisabeth Borne's government, honored us with his presence at DAI3.
Before his speech to launch the event, he spoke with students from La Briquerie high school and the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Metz about the evolution of AI in today's society and the importance of this technology in the professional world.
Artificial intelligence intrigues, raises questions, and opens up new perspectives, particularly for businesses. That is why the morning session of the day focused on this topic.
Participants were able to take part in a workshop on the everyday use of generative AI in the professional world. They were also able to attend a conference on "Digital technology and AI at ArcelorMittal" and discuss and share their experiences of CaMéX-IA projects.
