A PGE student on the Metz campus, Armand Ferveur already has one foot in the professional world. Passionate about artificial intelligence and convinced of its transformative potential, he created IngenierIA, an agency offering automation solutions to companies in the industrial sector. His motto: simple, concrete, and immediately useful solutions to save time and improve performance.
From a passion for AI to entrepreneurship
Armand Ferveur knew early on that he did not want to follow the traditional career path. "I wanted to be an inventor when I was little,"he says. This spirit of independence, combined with his keen interest in AI, naturally led him to entrepreneurship. Through hours of training, he developed a deep understanding of artificial intelligence and its potential. He then seized what he calls " a generational opportunity " by becoming a self-employed entrepreneur in the service and consulting sector.
To test the market, he offers his first services free of charge in the summer of 2024. The first official customers arrive in September 2025.
AI: immediate gains for businesses
Armand estimates a minimum time saving of 20% for employees using AI. This saving could even be as high as 80% depending on the sector and field, according to the sources he cites.
In any case, his first assignments demonstrate a need in the field:
• Automation of email and invoice management and optimization of the link between CRM and internal teams.
• Design of the architecture of a database containing technical standards, in order to facilitate responses to calls for tenders.
These missions demonstrate what Armand firmly believes: " AI is not just another technological toy, but a real, sustainable solution to the real daily challenges faced by businesses, if it is implemented intelligently. "
Starting a business while pursuing engineering studies
Armand manages his clients alongside his studies in the second year of the Grande École Program. To do this, he optimizes his free time during the week to work one to three hours a day, depending on his clients' needs. On weekends, he can work the equivalent of a 6- to 8-hour workday. This schedule still leaves him time for sports and social activities.
Next year, he has decided to pursue a specialization in Business Creation and Development (CREDA) at the Paris campus. This specialization will free up time for him to focus on his project and allow him to meet professionals in the field and learn the keys to starting a business.
A future already under construction
Already thinking ahead to the next stage of his business, Armand is developing an AI assistant dedicated to teachers and students: "This platform will be able to help correct papers, generate exercises, and even serve as a private tutor for students."
Before completing his studies in the last quarter of 2027, Armand will have to complete a six-month internship and an international mobility program. For both, there are various options on the table: a consulting firm or directly with a client in order to enrich his methodologies and practice, and Italy, Korea, or perhaps the United States for the mobility program.
It is clear that entrepreneurship is part of his DNA, along with the hard work and responsibilities that come with it: "What motivates me is being free and helping the people around me. Perhaps also, one day, creating jobs to help, in my own small way, with the reindustrialization of France."
