First cobots unveiled as part of ColRobot, a European collaborative mobile robotics project coordinated by Arts et Métiers

After more than two years of R&D, the finalized demonstrators of the ColRobot project for the aerospace industry (
for Thales Alenia Space) and the automotive industry (for Renault) were unveiled in January 2019. These
robotic demonstrators will bring flexibility, safety, mobility, and interactivity to operators in
the factory of the future.

Implementation in Metz of the sponsorship agreement signed nationally by Arts et Métiers VINCI Energies

In September 2018, Arts et Métiers VINCI Energies signed a three-year national sponsorship agreement, with financial support of €100,000.
On January 18, the senior management of VINCI Energies France dedicated to industry in the North East region formalized this partnership with the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Metz by signing a letter of intent, describing in concrete terms the actions to be implemented in the field.

Christophe Le Houérou wins gold medal in team event at WorldSkills Competition in Caen

Christophe Le Houérou is in his first year studying Industrial Equipment Design and Operation at the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Metz. He won a gold medal at the national finals of the Olympiades des Métiers (Skills Olympics) in late November/early December. Along with his two teammates, who are students in Nancy, he is now competing to be selected for the world finals next summer in Russia. Christophe Le Houérou is an apprentice engineer at the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Metz. He is completing his training in partnership with the UIMM Lorraine training center, ITII Lorraine, and his host company, Faurecia.

ISYTHERM: a new laboratory for inventing the electric vehicles of tomorrow

The Fluid Dynamics Laboratory (Dynfluid) at the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Paris and VALEO are joining forces to create a laboratory with the aim of developing digital and experimental tools. These tools will enable the development of innovative thermal components and systems dedicated to the thermal management of the electric vehicle of the future.
