Primary school children learn about science and technology at Arts et Métiers

On Thursday, May 17, five students from the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers , accompanied by teams from the school, are organizing a half-day event for elementary school children to introduce them to scientific and technological projects and inspire them to pursue careers in these fields from an early age. Since 2007, the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers has been mobilizing its students to organize the ASTEP (Accompagnement en Sciences et Technologie à l'Ecole Primaire) forum, a national initiative run by the French Ministry of Education. The aim of this event is to spark the curiosity of primary school children and raise their awareness of science and technology by giving them the opportunity to talk to engineering students.

9th edition of Excellence Days at the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Cluny

This Thursday, April 26, will mark the ninth edition of the Cordées de la Réussite Days of Excellence. With the support of the Dijon Board of Education, the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Cluny is participating in this national event through its OPTIM social mobility program. This year, 20 ninth-grade students from the Saint Exupéry middle school in Mâcon will spend the day in laboratories and workshops to discover how an object is created, from its design to its manufacture. The object is made of different materials and involves several manufacturing processes.

FIMME and Arts et Métiers sign a memorandum of understanding for expanded cooperation

As part of the Industrial Acceleration Plan (PIA), which aims to establish more efficient industrial ecosystems by strengthening local relationships between large companies and SMEs, the Federation of Metallurgical and Electromechanical Industries (FIMME), which coordinates a strategic industrial sector comprising more than 1,600 companies in Morocco, signed an agreement on Thursday, April 12, during the ceremony to establish a partnership between the Ministry of Industry and the Federation of Metallurgical and Electromechanical Industries (FIMME). Metallurgical and Electromechanical Industries Federation (FIMME), which coordinates a strategic industrial sector comprising more than 1,600 companies in Morocco, signed a memorandum of understanding on Thursday, April 12, during the opening ceremony of the SISTEP 2018 trade show in Casablanca, to launch a broad cooperation with Arts et Métiers , a leading French engineering school.
