AR2BUILD is an application that allows users to scan the rooms of a building, from floor to ceiling, including partitions, window openings, and doors, in just a few clicks using a smartphone. Developed by research engineers at the LAMPA laboratoryArts et Métiers Laboratoire Angevin de Mécanique, Procédés et innovAtion) and AMvalor, a subsidiary ofArts et Métiers, the application meets the needs of Bimeo, the company that owns this product. Their goal: to better equip building professionals, such as project managers and architects, to quickly and easily scan buildings and create plans. In just a few clicks and seconds, the application instantly retrieves the scanned data in digital format, taking into account each element accurately and separately.
