Laurent Champaney has been reappointed as CEO ofArts et Métiers for a five-year term, starting on February 27, 2022. He intends to put the ELF 4.0 project "at the service of future leaders and companies that will shape France's industrial landscape in 2030."

Sébastien Laporte, director ofthe Georges Charpak Institute of Human Biomechanics(IBHGC), received the Christian Oddou Award from theBiomechanics Society in 2021. 

Arts et Métiers a partner in the Continuum project (Continuité collaborative du numérique vers l’humain), which has a budget of €13.6 million and brings together 37 research teams from across France. The laboratory LISPEN has been awarded an ANR Young Researcher projectproject, led by Arnaud Polette, a lecturer and researcher at the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers . The GENERAT3D project aims to automatically generate multimodal data from mechanical part assemblies for machine learning in product reverse engineering. 

For nearly six months,AMJE Clunyhas been supportingThibaut Louvet, a third-year student in the Grande Ecole Programat the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Cluny, specializing in wood expertise, on a solar carport project that was completed in January 2022. This study was commissioned by Vinci Energies, a major player in the field of infrastructure and a patron ofArts et Métiers. The AMJE Cluny team is proud to present this prototype, which was inaugurated on the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Cluny by Fabrice Dudragne, regional director of Vinci Energies.

Every year, AMJE Bordeaux (the Junior Enterprise of the Bordeaux-Talence campus) redoubles its efforts to carry out assignments for companies in the region. These assignments are an opportunity to provide manufacturers with recognized technical expertise and for our students to develop their skills by working on business issues.

On Tuesday, February 8, 2022, Arts et Métiers HeidelbergCement France signed a three-year sponsorship agreement at the Paris Campus to forge lasting ties between students and professionals in the building materials sector. This partnership strengthens the industrial and regional roots of the School, a leading French institution serving the industry of the future.
