Thwarted by a serious health problem, he was unable to pursue his ambition of a career as a military officer. He therefore opted for a school that offered training in general industrial and pragmatic technical culture: Arts et Métiers. It was here that he learned to forge, handle molten metal, and machine parts. " which makes us humble and brings us closer to the operators ." In his third year, he pursued a double degree and enriched his experience with a stay at the Universidad Politecnica in Spain: "an incredible, unforgettable experience."

Arts et Métiers Training Arts et Métiers a springboard to entrepreneurship

After completing his Master of Science Research in 2010, the idea of launching his startup began to take shape. Following the founding of six companies in the 3D field, Cottos Medicawas finally launched in 2014. And to get there, he makes no secret of the fact that the reputation of Arts et Métiers was a major help, particularly in his relationships with industry partners. He invented a connected bike, Cycleo, designed for residents of care facilities, whether medical or non-medical. The data collected allows for the study of changes in cognitive performance. Building on its success, the startup currently employs five people, and with such momentum, there’s no question of shifting gears…
