Charlotte Leclercq, bachelor's student, class of 2016.
Charlotte enrolled in the bachelor's degree program in technology in September 2016, a three-year program that allows STI2D high school graduates to obtain an advanced technician's diploma in three years.
With a STI2D diploma in hand, Charlotte initially enrolled in a TSI preparatory class. Despite successfully completing her first year, she wanted a different learning environment. She then became interested in Arts et Métiers. First, she was drawn to the school itself, then to the post-baccalaureate program, which she saw as "the ideal compromise between theory and practice."
Teaching rooted in reality
When she enrolled in the bachelor's program at the Châlons-en-Champagne campus, the student immediately appreciated the support and interaction with the faculty, as well as the autonomy that students enjoy. "Above all, it's a relationship based on exchange, which is completely different from prep school, where we mainly had to learn our lessons by heart."
We are given a great deal of autonomy on projects, but we can still ask the professors questions, as they are always available to answer them.
His first year has already given him the desire to continue his studies after obtaining his bachelor's degree: "After my bachelor's degree, I would like to continue by enrolling in a general engineering program. Ultimately, I would like to work in machining for car bodies."
