ELF Project: Collaborative Robot on the Cluny Campus

Starting in the 2025 academic year, second- and third-year students in the Grande École Program will have access to a collaborative robot as part of their education. ROAM (Robot Collaboratif Arts et Métiers) is a demonstrator that incorporates innovative features and paves the way for educational projects combining technology and traditional know-how within the framework of Evolutive Learning Factories.

The Arts et Métiers Team (AMRT) student association was founded in 2020 by Théo Laplasse, a student at Arts et Métiers, with the goal of competing in the international Formula Student competition with an electric single-seater vehicle. In June 2025, the association—composed of eight engineering students in Grande Ecole Engineering Programme the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Cluny—won first prize in the ENEDIS EV Challenge with their electric kart.
