Winner of the French final of Present Around The World (PATW) on March 24, 2018, organized by the IET - Institution of Engineering and TechnologyAntoine YAZBECK, an engineering student Arts et Métiers, was invited to the international regional final " The IET EMEA Present Around The World Regional Final 2018 ," which brought together winners from Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. He has also decided to get involved with the IET to help develop the institute in France.

The competition, held on August 11 in Kazakhstan, specifically in the capital city of Astana, lasted a full day. Surrounded by 18 high-level competitors, Antoine, an engineering student Arts et Métiers, was not intimidated and gave his presentation on the topic of "The tuned mass damper." Despite a strong performance, it was the candidate from the United Arab Emirates who won the final. But Antoine did not lose everything; he was able to discover the country and participate in various events organized by the IET during his stay, which was a real personal and professional enrichment: "Incredible people, a beautiful country, and a wonderful welcome... A very enriching experience."

In addition, Antoine will continue to be involved with the IET, which is looking to expand in France. He is already at the helm of the "IET On Campus" project with three of his classmates, Patrick JACQUEMONT, Coraline LE DOUCEN , Florian VIDAL will organize a day dedicated to the IET on January 8, 2019, at the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Châlons-en-Champagne. The aim of this "IET On Campus Day" is to bring together companies and students for a day focused on industry. Teams of four students will be asked to solve a real business problem (proposed by the company), and activities related to the professional world will also be offered and supervised by IET engineers. The response to the problem submitted to each team will be evaluated by a jury composed of various partners of the event (company, IET,Arts et Métiers teachers, etc.).
