The Arts et Métiers Institute Arts et Métiers Chalon-sur-Saône is organizing the 12th edition of the Chal’engeAM challenge, a competition bringing together students and companies around innovative projects in virtual reality, augmented reality, artificial intelligence, and digital marketing.

Every year, this challenge brings together students from the Digital Engineering Master's program (MTI3D), the Data Science & AI Engineering degree program at CNAM BFC, and the Bachelor's program at EGC Centre-Est. 

In two weeks, the teams work with companies in Bourgogne–Franche-Comté to build a functional technology demonstrator that meets a real business need.

Challenge objectives

  • Strengthening ties between academia and industry
  • Preparing students for the technological and strategic challenges of tomorrow
  • Stimulating innovation in regional businesses through immersive solutions or AI
  • Promoting the emergence of economic opportunities around digital technology

Program 

  • January 30, 2026 – CCI of Chalon-sur-Saône
    • 2:00 p.m.: Opening and presentation of the challenge
    • 2:20 p.m.: team pitches
    • 3:15 p.m.: demonstration session
    • 4:00 p.m.: jury deliberation
    • 4:15 p.m.: awards ceremony
    • 4:30 p.m.: social time
