After earning a Master of Science in 3D Interactive Technology Management fromthe Institut Arts et Métiers Laval, Jasmine Lebert was immediately hired as aa Unity developer at Octo Technology, a new technology consulting firm in Paris, following her end-of-studies internship. Students in the Master of Science are highly sought after by companies and quickly enter the workforce!
After earning a bachelor's degree in computer science, his motto became: developing real-time 3D applications.
Jasmine Lebert, passionate about manga and Japanese traditions, has always been interested in drawing and creativity. Widely available in homes in the early 2000s, computers and their complex language sparked a vocation in her that would have a clear influence on her career path towards computer science. After obtaining a high school diploma in science, she completed a technical degree in computer science and then a bachelor's degree at the University of Caen, where she discovered and became fascinated by real-time 3D application development and virtual reality. Thanks to these new skills, she combines her freedom to create and develop a project in her own way while complying with algorithms and programming.
TAlways eager to learn, she set herself the goal of mastering 3D computer graphics, a skill she quickly acquired by enrolling in the Master of Science (Management of Interactive 3D Technologies) program atthe Institut Arts et Métiers Laval. Through her coursework and projects with companies, she also learned a great deal from her classmates who came from other programs, such as Laval3DI or the school’s general engineering program. Her in-depth skills in design, programming, and computer graphics make her versatile and give her a comprehensive understanding of careers related to virtual and augmented reality.
An Master of Science intensive" Master of Science in Active Pedagogy
The training helped me integrate into professional life, particularly thanks to project-based learning and internships in companies.
Master of Science program is condensed into six months and is taught at the Laval Virtual Center—a hub for innovation and collaboration in immersive technologies—or at the Institut Image in Chalon-sur-Saône. The 11-month internship, which complements the curriculum and the project-based, active learning approach, makes the program highly practical.
The excitement generated by team projects, such as securing a booth at the Laval Virtual international trade show, brings back fond memories: "It's an intense period because you have to develop a functional application in 15 days, but when you see the results, it's always satisfying!" She still draws on this positive stress to carry out her current consulting assignments at Octo Technology, a new technology consulting firm in Paris. Her expertise, which is highly sought after by companies, enabled her to complete a pre-employment internship. As soon as her internship began, she knew she had secured her place in the job market. She has fond memories Arts et Métiers time at Arts et Métiers !
