Solidarity campaign "J'en pince pour le Faubourg" (I'm crazy about Faubourg): Students at the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Lille are taking action!

On Wednesday, September 6, in the afternoon, first- and second-year students from the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Lille took part in a community outreach initiative in partnership with the municipality and neighborhood associations.

On the agenda: Cleanup and beautification activities throughout the Faubourg de Béthune neighborhood:

  • Waste collection

  • Weeding

  • Repainting of shutters, fences, and ladybugs in the city.

A common goal: to make the neighborhood more pleasant for its residents, to meet with local associations, and to raise awareness among young people about waste management. All of the students, divided into 11 groups working in different areas, enthusiastically got involved.

Amaury, Lucas, Tom, and Antoine share their experiences:

This year, we really enjoyed sharing this moment with groups of children who were integrated into some of the student groups. They were very involved in picking up trash.

A successful seventh edition, with wonderful moments of exchange and sharing. Thank you to everyone for this convivial occasion!
