A traveling exhibition to demystify and inspire young women to pursue careers in technology and industry

Organized by Arts et Métiers, in partnership with the 13th arrondissement town hall and the Arts et Métiers Foundation, the exhibition Technology, feminine noun showcases, through the lens of photographer Marion Gambin, the careers of 18 female Arts et Métiers engineers, with the aim of deconstructing stereotypes and attracting more young women to the technology and industrial sectors.

"My love of a challenge encourages me to aim high, both in my studies and in my career choices," says Anne-Laure Gruhier, one of the models in the exhibition, who works at EDF and studied on the Franco-German program atArts et Métiers.

Created on the initiative ofArts et Métiers the support of the association Elles Bougent and the Fondation Égalité Mixité, this photo exhibition can be seen on the gates of Parc de Choisy, 128 avenue de Choisy in the 13th arrondissement of Paris, until April 6, 2023.

Technology Noun is has been on display since 2017 in numerous middle and high schools in France and internationally.

" Women remain underrepresented in scientific and technical careers, accounting for an average of 28% of engineering students in France. Promoting science and technology among young girls is a priority for Arts et Métiers. We are very proud to see this exhibition continue its journey," adds Laurent Champaney, CEOArts et Métiers.
