Arts et Métiers , in collaboration with the "Supply Chain & Purchasing" professional group of the Arts et Métiers engineering society, Arts et Métiers Arts et Métiers conference on the theme "From the industry of the future to Supply Chain 4.0" on Monday, December 4 at 6:30 p.m.

The development of new digital technologies creates opportunities for industrial companies to meet the challenge of responding quickly to a market that demands customized products, without increasing production costs. It is in this context that the Factory of the Future or 4.0 is structured to meet its needs.

During this evening, after a descriptive introduction to what is now considered a new industrial revolution, two implementations in different industrial sectors will be presented. The presentation that follows will show that, in this new context, planning remains the key process for managing activities related to market response. To summarize these presentations, the speakers will detail how the factory of the future fits into the Supply Chain 4.0 process.
