Let's rekindle young people's enthusiasm for industry

The 8th Industry Week opens today in France. It represents a tremendous opportunity to loudly and proudly showcase the important role that a high-performing, modern, and dynamic industry plays in our country's attractiveness and competitiveness. This week remains far too low-key given the stakes involved. It should be, like events such as the Agricultural Show, a highlight for the country to meet with its best companies.

Industry Week comes alive at Arts et Métiers

As an official partner of Industry Week, Arts et Métiers, a founding member of the Alliance Industrie Du Futur (Industry of the Future Alliance) and a major technology institution, is participating in this national event led by the Directorate-General for Enterprise (DGE), which is part of the Ministry of Economy, Industry, and Digital Affairs. Industry Week will take place from March 26 to April 1, 2018. The aim of this week is to raise the profile of industry among the general public and to make it more attractive to young people, along with the careers it offers. The 8th edition of Industry Week will focus on "connected industry."

Signing of Bachelor of Technology partnership agreements

Arts et Métiers invites Arts et Métiers to the signing ceremony for the partnership agreements for the Bachelor of Technology program launched with four regional high schools on Friday, March 23, at 10 a.m. The signing will take place in the presence of Ms. Valerie Cabuil, Rector of the Hauts-de-France academic region, Rector of the Lille Academy, and Chancellor of Universities.

ARTS ET MÉTIERS THE FIRST INNOVATECH CHALLENGE IN THE PAYS DE LA LOIRE REGION

On Thursday, February 22, the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers , in partnership with ISTIA - University of Angers, is co-organizing the first Pays de la Loire edition of the "InnovaTech Challenge - Elles bougent" (Women on the Move). This national intergenerational challenge, which has been run since 2016 by the "Elles bougent" association in partnership with the DGE (Directorate-General for Enterprise), will bring together teams composed of female engineers, mainly from industry, high school students from the David d'Angers, Chevrollier, Saint Aubin la Salle, and Du Plessis Mornay (Saumur), and female engineering students from the Angers schools Arts et Métiers, ISTIA, and ESEO.
