The 21st summer school of the Ariane Cities Community (ACC), dedicated to access to space, will take place from July 5 to August 9, 2022. Created in 1998, the ACC brings together partner cities and industries working on European space transport. It strengthens cooperation between stakeholders, provides information on space activities in Europe, and contributes to the training of future professionals in the sector.

Last March and June, seven Arts et Métiers doctors Arts et Métiers the Pierre Bézier Thesis Awards. 

Created in 2005 in honor of Pierre Bézier, a renowned Arts et Métiers engineer, this award,funded by the Arts et Métiers Foundation, recognizes the best theses of each graduating class every year.

Since 2012, the research team at the Chambéry institute has been working on controlling the life cycle of complex products containing plastics. This is evidenced by recent and ongoing theses, such as Nicolas's, which began in November 2020.

Meet Antoine, a second-year student in the Grande Ecole Program. A high-level athlete, he has always been a runner. More recently, he discovered cycling and swimming, and prepared for a few trail runs before deciding to sign up at the beginning of the year forthe Ironman, organized by the city of Aix-en-Provence last May.

Mayoux Prize

At the end of the second year of the Grande École Program, students from each campus can participate in the Mayoux-Dauriac Prize.  With one prize per Arts et Métiers campus, it recognizes the student who, in both written and oral work, and in terms of both form and content, uses the French language with the greatest eloquence, finesse, and meaning.
