First academic year for the "Nuclear Systems Engineering: Operation and Control" program at the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Lille: A strategic training program supported by EDF and the Université des Métiers du Nucléaire!

The JENII project will come to an end on November 1. But is that the end of the story? What progress has this project made? Answers from Véronique Favier, Deputy Director GeneralArts et Métiers Scientific Director of JENII, and Sébastien Fernandez, Director of Development at ELF.

On September 1, Alexandra Houzet joined the Lille campus as head of the future Learning Center. She shares her vision for the project, her first actions, and the specific features of the Lille campus.

Marco Montemurro, University Professor at the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Bordeaux-Talence and researcher at ^I2M*, has just been appointed junior member of the Institut Universitaire de France, effective September 1, 2025. In her final year of the Specialized Engineering Program in Industrial Equipment Design and Operation, Reda Bentahir completed her training with a dual degree in engineering and management fromIAE FRANCE. This program is open to all engineering students on the Metz campus, PGE and PIS. 

Designed by Arts et Métiers Clarté, CAPLAB, the new platform installed at the Laval Virtual Center, was inaugurated on September 12. With the aim of capturing and analyzing human activity—gestures, movements, sounds, emotions—in order to preserve expertise, optimize training, and support the industry of the future, this project was made possible thanks to the support of the Pays de la Loire Region, Laval Agglomération, and the ERDF.

After holding several senior positions in various higher education institutions, Radjesvarane Alexandre will become director of the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Cluny, effective September 1, 2025. He succeeds Michel Jauzein, who is retiring after eight years at the helm of the campus.

From July 28 to August 2, 2025, in Luxembourg, Corentin Laville won the European championship title in competitive model car racing on asphalt tracks. A second-year student in the Grande École program on the Cluny campus, he combined passion, rigor, and composure to win at the wheel of his 1/5 scale miniature Formula 1 car.

Each campus, whether in an urban or natural setting, has its own ecological riches. Through concrete actions and a better understanding of their ecosystems, they actively participate in the protection of local flora and fauna.
