The aim is to strengthen individual and collective resilience factors in the face of the challenges of academic, professional, and civic engagement: preventing anxiety and depression, avoiding isolation and suicide risks, combating addiction, identifying situations of harassment, etc.
This initiative contributes to the prevention of subsequent psychosocial risks.
Two programs are thus underway:
"EVA" stands for Listening, Monitoring, and Support.
This innovative and integrative program, coordinated by Dr. D. Monchablon, FSEF psychiatrist, draws on the resources and expertise of the FSEF and consists of several components:
- For students: psychological and psychiatric consultations (in person and remotely) and collective prevention initiatives;
- For professionals: a counseling and awareness-raising program on best practices for resolving individual or collective psychological issues ("FIL HARMONIE").
PEER CARE, a program for teaching and mutual assistance in identifying risky behavior among students
This program is run by the team of Dr. O. Phan, child psychiatrist and addiction specialist at FSEF. It offers training to students and professionals at the School with the aim of reducing or limiting the risks associated with the consumption of dangerous substances (particularly alcohol) and contributing to the early detection of risky behaviors and addictive behaviors.
These measures are the result of close collaboration and have been made possible thanks to the active support of all student associations and alumni (the Société des Ingénieurs Arts et Métiers and the Fondation Arts et Métiers). They complement the work carried out on certain campuses by the University Preventive Medicine services and are coordinated with local health resources.
