Ludovic Regley is currently a second-year engineering student specializing in a particular field at the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Châlons-en-Champagne. For this work-study student, the specialized engineering program is in line with his professional goal: to gain as much experience as possible.

After obtaining a scientific baccalaureate in 2014, Ludovic already wanted to embark on a vocational course. That is why the student opted for a BTS (Brevet de Technicien Supérieur) in Industrial Maintenance on a work-study basis at the CFAI in Bruges. It is no surprise that this Bordeaux native found his work-study program at a private winery, specifically the GCF Group (Grands Chais de France) in Landiras. As an apprentice technician, Ludovic was responsible for maintaining the machines in the bottling department.

"This initial experience reinforced my decision to continue my studies with the same model, which is why I took a keen interest in the program offered by École Arts et Métiers." For students, thespecialized engineering program provides a solid theoretical foundation and excellent professional immersion.

After obtaining his BTS diploma, Ludovic enrolled in his desired program at the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Châlons-en-Champagne. Satisfied with the student's work, the GCF Group decided to keep him on by offering him an apprenticeship contract that met the program's requirements.

"I really wanted to stay with this Group because it has helped me develop my skills."

As an Industrialization and Methods Engineer apprentice, Ludovic has more responsibilities, which he welcomes: "I have the opportunity to work with German and French teams. This position gives me a different perspective on the Group." The engineering student is responsible for technical feasibility studies for packaging, setting up production lines, etc.

For Ludovic, these different experiences will enable him to hit the ground running in the workplace: "By the time I graduate, I will have accumulated more than five years of professional experience, which I know will be a major asset in my future job search."

The engineering student would like to return to live in Bordeaux and be in charge of a maintenance department in the agri-food sector, which he believes is a sector that will never experience a crisis.
