Julien Pernet, a 2016 graduate of the Specialized Master's® in Maintenance Management, talks about the major advantage of this program in helping him stand out professionally.

Julien Pernet"A real PLUS on your resume"

After obtaining his degree in industrial engineering, Julien Pernet wants to specialize in maintenance: "I chose this specialization because I have a particular interest in maintenance methods."

His goal is to become an experienced and operational manager. Training with the MS in Maintenance Management was therefore an obvious choice. The MS specialization, combined with the reputation of the institution, is "a real plus on my resume," says Julien.

Maintenance manager, a profile sought after by manufacturers

Julien completed his professional thesis at Alstom, where he implemented a maintenance management system. "Thanks to the MS program, I was able to complete the project, which enabled Alstom to generate savings and, above all, control indirect maintenance costs related to production downtime, accidents, labor, and spare parts," explains Julien Pernet.

With the MS, Julien was able to gain the confidence to be an effective operational manager. "In my role as Maintenance Methods and Continuous Improvement Consultant for the engineering and operational consulting company specializing in the industry AGAP2, I use the knowledge I acquired during the MS program. In particular, reliability-based maintenance and maintenance management methods."

Beyond skills, a human challenge

"This program gave me a broader perspective on things, both in business and in my personal life."
Students who choose this MS program benefit from the diversity of profiles. "We were lucky to be in a class with people from the army, air force, and navy. We were able to capitalize on everyone's experiences," says Julien.
