Professional Support

Arts et Métiers APE, a tailored professional support program for students that aims to increase their employability and prepare them for the challenges they will face in their professional careers.

Fully integrated into the Grande École Program, the APE takes into account the individual while drawing on the richness of the collective, to help each student give meaning to their career path by connecting with the business world and building a professional project consistent with their values.

APE is a company that brings its own codes and requirements to the school, but also the benevolent eye of more than 300 highly motivated and committed professionals, who measure its effects every year.

A real added value to the Grande École Program, the initiative draws its strength from the commitment of the Arts et Métiers community, Arts et Métiers puts its experience, professionalism, and collective power at the service of developing talented young engineers.

Testimonial from François Florence, a second-year engineering student in the Grande Ecole Program on the Cluny campus

"The individual APE meetings allowed me to question certain choices, to compare my expectations with the reality of the company, and above all to consider different paths in order to find a job that I like in case of unforeseen circumstances. This was possible thanks to the APE's coaching approach, and I know I can count on this support system until I graduate, should I encounter any difficulties."

Testimonial from Laurent Perinet, ArianeGroup industrial policy manager, APE speaker for five years at the Bordeaux-Talence campus

"The scope of topics covered offers a rare, comprehensive approach. It ranges from the basics, such as CVs, letters, pitches, etc., to rarely discussed subjects such as dealing with failure. The program even includes personality tests like those we would do in a company. For me, the APE program is on par with professional consulting services such as outplacement. It's an incredible opportunity for students to have this kind of support as part of their academic curriculum."
