This year has been rich in competitions and prizes won by our students, whether it be the Entrepreneuriales de Bourgogne (see article in the latest Campus Newsletter) or thepublic speaking competition. Focus on the prizes awarded on June 2 during the graduation ceremony.

This prize is awarded each year to engineering students who demonstrate an interest in the language of Molière. It was awarded toAlexandre Curtet. With a technical degree in Mechanical and Production Engineering from the University of Lyon 1, he joined Arts et Métiers 2016. His performance on "La Force est avec toi" won over the jury. 

  • the Alban Tixier Prize from the Arts et Métiers Foundation,

This year, the Arts et Métiers  Foundation Arts et Métiers theLaBoMaPWood team were impressed by the excellence of Benoit Besseau'sthird-year ExpertiseProject. The project, in which he participated as part of Bois Croisés de Bourgogne (BCB), aimed to promote the use of local secondary-quality oak in construction through the development of an innovative product: oak CLT. Today, he is an AMValor engineer in the MUB team at LaBoMaP and will be starting the next academic year.

  • the Camille Mathieu Prize from the HandiTecAM Foundation,

The HanditecAM Foundation rewards a successful project aimed at improving the daily lives of people with reduced mobility. The prize was awarded to Léopold Lanne. His association, Sano Celo, trains health services in 3D printing of prostheses and makes everyday life easier for people with disabilities in emerging countries.

  • the national competition "promotion of professional ethics"

Lewis Andurandwon two awards in the national professional ethics competition. He received first prize in DISTRICT 1750 (Burgundy-Champagne) and an honorable mention in the national competition. Download his essay onEthics in Robotics: A Winding Road from Legitimacy to Morality.
