The 1,720-hour academic program (1,790 hours for students with a BTS diploma who are taking refresher courses) is divided into three parts:

  • Scientific skills: 60%

Mechanical design, mechanical systems, dynamics, structural mechanics, finite elements, electrical engineering, electronics, automation, fluids and energy, materials science, materials processing, non-destructive testing, dimensional metrology.

  • Methodological skills: 20%

Business management, investment financing, business law, quality management, production management, maintainability, collaborative engineering.

  • Managerial and interpersonal skills: 20%

In the third year, the program offers six possible areas of specialization representing 203 hours of instruction:

  • Maintenance in operational condition
  • Industrial production for Industry 4.0
  • Aerospace Systems Engineering
  • Energy flow engineering
  • Mechatronics
  • Business Engineer (in partnership with ISEN Yncréa Méditerranée – Marseille Campus)

Academic training is supplemented by work experience, which accounts for approximately 60% of the apprentice's total working time. A professional project representing at least 600 hours of work is carried out and defended at the end of the training program.

A three-month period of mobility abroad (in non-French-speaking countries or regions) is included in the schedule. This period is mandatory in order to validate the engineering degree. In the case of mobility within the European Union, it is possible to benefit from the ERASMUS+ program and its associated scholarship.
