Three criteria explainArts et Métiers riseArts et Métiers the ChangeNOW ranking in 2025: the increased integration of environmental impact issues into training programs, the school's strategy and exemplary approach to sustainable development, and finally the growing visibility of student associations' commitment to ecological transition and social responsibility.

ChangeNOW, organized by ChangeNOW and Les Échos Start in partnership with Deloitte Sustainability France, is aimed at business and engineering schools. Around fifty institutions took part in this fifth edition.

Guiding students to become tomorrow's change makers

The ChangeNOW ranking has two objectives: to guide students toward schools that will give them the best chance of becoming tomorrow's change makers, and to inspire all institutions to take up the ecological and social challenge by providing them with a framework for analyzing their progress in addressing these issues.

For Arts et Métiers, participating in this survey provides an opportunity to challenge itself and benchmark itself against other schools as part of a continuous improvement process.

Six families of criteria

The training courses are analyzed in a cross-disciplinary manner with the aim of not limiting themselves to specialized courses in sustainable development.

The ranking is based on a questionnaire sent to the audited schools covering six categories of criteria:

  • The integration of impact topics within the program;
  • The strength of the Alumni network in the impact sector;
  • The institution's strategy and exemplary nature;
  • Diversity and equal opportunities;
  • The involvement of student associations in high-impact issues;

Academic excellence and employability.

Many stakeholders involved

The Data Observatory collects information from a wide range of sources: SOCE, students (particularly those in the EU's environmental division) and certain departments such as Research, Training, Corporate Relations and General Management.
To help them complete the survey and monitor the data, the Observatory sends them a template questionnaire with tabs for each topic.
